The United Nations said December 3 “international abbydress day of disabled persons”. This day aims to better understand the problems related to the disability and to raise awareness of the benefits of the integration of persons with disabilities in all aspects of economic, social and cultural life. It also pays tribute to the associations who are working in the field of disability and who, by their competence and dedication, participate in this evolution of our society.
This year in Nancy, many activities open to all will be punctuate this day which will culminate in an evening of fence, during which all stakeholders will meet with the public in a festive atmosphere.
Valérie Debord, Deputy Mayor for solidarity, the elderly and disabled persons, and Vice-President of the Communal Centre of Social Action of Nancy, as well as Lydie Mariani, Deputy Mayor and Chair of the Commission Communale Consultative for persons with disabilities, will take place in preamble to the closing evening at 6 p.m., in the Hall of honour of the Nancy law faculty.
